30 Day Snap - #9 yummy in my tummy

This is a very boring thing to share with you all but today I had one of the nicest hot chocolates EVER. My sister bought me back one of these chocolate spoon thingys from France a while back and I've even so slow to try it (I have no idea why as I wanted to try one for ages!) So when I finally got round to trying it, it was amazing. The fact it was a block of what was like Belgium chocolate which melted into hot milk was a trillion times better than hot chocolate powder! I was in heaven...

30 Day Snap - #7 and #8 complete nostalgia..

Yesterday was my younger sisters prom and I honestly cannot believe how time has flown by, and its been a huge two years since my prom (feeling old and I'm only 18).. So I assigned myself to do my sisters makeup, as I am constantly watching makeup tutorials and love makeup I thought it would be a good chance to try it but also do something for my sister on her exciting day. The look I went for was a gold and brown smokey eye, as she has darker skin an hair than me as she has more of my dads colour, and so the darker colours look really good on her. Along with that, normal foundation and base and just a little bit of bronzer and blusher to really brighten her face and give it lots of colour as in the sun and in the cameras she needs to make sure shes nice and radiant. So this is her face makeup, what do you think?

I also thought I would add in another photo of her in her dress as well as she looked just to amazing not to show you all! That will be #8 as I meant to do the makeup post before prom day as we did a trial run, so this is her at prom!

30 Day Snap - #6 Topshop sale!

Today I decided that as I don't have any more revision to do that I would pop out and have a wonder around the shops, as at the moment there are a fair few sales on, yippee! So off I popped, and went into Debenhams first and looked at the topshop section in there as I knew it would be so much quitter than in the normal Topshop store and their sale section. So in there I  picked up some black and white patterned leggings, which were £28 down to £15, and a plain white long sleeved jumper which was £18 down to £12, again a good save as I will wear both of these pieces a lot whether it be going out one night or just relaxing at home. Then around to the other shops I went, and ended up in the actual Topshop store as I couldn't resist a sneaky peak. The sale section as I'm sure you would all know in Topshop tends to be carnage and is just such a task wadding through it all, while climbing ontop of the person next to you.. not fun. Anywho I would a pair of plain black wedged boots which are just so lovely and can be work for many occasions. So those were the best save, as originally they were £70, and then in the sale down to £40, and then with my student discount £36! Practically half price! So I didn't spend huge amounts but I did still spend (naughty me) but they are all good pieces for my wardrobe :)

30 Day Snap - #5 new inspirations

I really am so bad at doing a post everyday, so as of now it will be a prolonged 30 day(s) snap of 30 snaps over a longer period of time as my life is not that interesting to do one every day! But today's one really does count for the last couple of days missed, as this new YouTuber I am IN LOVE WITH! She's from LA, has such a quirky and mesmerizing style and a great personality so once I had watched one of her video's, I was hooked. Clothes Encounters has definately become one of my favourite style and fashion channels, go and check her out!

30 Day Snap - #4 Lovin' it

Recently I have been loving one of Essie's nail varnishes in the colour 'Tart Deco' as it really pops on my nails and makes me look more tanned too! Its a perfect colour for summer and works well with summer colours and prints, definately one to have..

Please excuse how untidy my nail painting abilities are in this photo..

30 Day Snap - #3 A little bit of DIY

Sorry I skipped a day, this is yesterdays photo as I ran out of time to post it then so here it is! So, in my room I have this lovely black jewellery box/storage thingy with a gold and silver baroque style pattern on, don't get me wrong it's nice, but doesn't really suit my room. Therefore I thought as my mum had some spare paint I would repaint it a gorgeous baby pink colour to suit my room just that little more. And the work has paid off!

This is after one coat of white primer, which helped to eliminate some of the bulk black colour. You can really tell how dark it was to begin with..
And this is the final result! I love it, it looks so much nicer and much more softer on my chest of drawers..
Simply painting over something can make a huge difference, and I definately cannot wait to do further DIY on other bits and bobs in my bedroom. So have you guys ever done some of your own DIY in your rooms or wherever? I'd love to get some other inspirations!

30 Day Snap - #2 always no.1

So today is fathers day! The day when we seem to look back on all the times we have experienced with our dads, whether they be funny, not so funny, happy or maybe just plain cringey. My dad really has always been here for me and supported me, and is truelly a wonderful dad!

One of my favourite old photos of me and my dad. I love it so much..

Happy Fathers Day everyone!

30 Day Snap - #1 Pretty in Pink

So I haven't posted anything on my blog in ages and it was really bugging me but I was looking for inspiration for something different other than reviews and stuff like that. So I came across the '30 day snap' on Sprinkle Of Glitters blog (which is so lovely and pretty!) and thought 'hey presto!' that sounds like a good idea! Obviously I won't be doing the month of June from start to finish as it is already the 15th so that won't work, but I will be doing 30 snaps from today on-wards!

This is a recent cheeky purchase of mine. I've been looking for a new M.A.C lipstick for ages and finally found one I thought I would wear a lot and loved. Its called 'Coral Bliss' and is a pink lipstick with a tint of peach, I would say anyway. It's cremesheen so looks great and moisturizing on, I would recommend. Love it!
