30 Day Snap - #22 Something sweet

Todays photo is very random but I couldn't think what else to put as my photo. Unfortunately due to the weather getting worse, for some reason I tend to eat worse when the weather is worse as lets be honest a salad is not as appealing when its colder and wet outside when instead I could have a sandwich. So recently I have been just chilling at home and this box of doughnuts managed to sneak its way into our car when we left the Bullring. Oh dear... 

30 Day Snap - #21 Day at the Bullring

Today my family and I took a trip over to the Bullring in Birmingham, which I love every time I go there! I've only been to the bullring a few times but always leave with plenty of shopping bags and a full stomach either from Nandos or Ed's Diner (like I said I love it there..) Today was again one of those days where I spent probably too much money on some clothes, makeup and some bits for my room from Urban Outfitters, and had a lovely lunch at Nandos to keep us going. I thought I would share this photo to remember the day as I bought one of these bottles in Selfridges and just thought it was the coolest thing! Once I've drunk the coke it will definately find a spot on my desk, it's too cool to throw away!

30 Day Snap - #20 Taking care of my tootsies

Well England you have kept surprising me with this hot weather, but with the hot weather comes less boots and more flip flops and sandals, which all show my feet more. Now I really do not like my feet (seriously does anyone even like their feet?) so I have had to take more and better care of them as they are on show more. I have been doing this little routine recently using a scrub for dry skin and a moisturiser/body butter afterwards for maximum softness. Today I decided to paint my toe nails blue, a gorgeous colour called 'Celestial' from Topshop..

30 Day Snap - #19 Sunshine selfie

Recently I have definately been having a serious love-hate relationship with my long hair due to the heat here in the UK. My hair naturally is wild, wavy and thick! So in this temperature at the moment it seems to be living on top of my head in some make shift bun (or mess) to help to keep me cool.. Do any of you have the same problem?

Humidity and my hair do not mix well..

30 Day Snap - #18 Childish fun

I can not tell you how excited I was when my younger sister and I decided to go and see the new Monsters University, which for any of you who don't know, is the follow on to the film Monsters Inc. The first film will always be a fun memory from when I was younger, as I was 6 when it came out I was old enough (kinda) to fully appreciate and enjoy the film (which I went to see in the cinema, so much fun when I was 6!) So upon hearing the 2nd one was released, it was too great too miss!

30 Day Snap - #17 Antoni Gaudi

Once again sorry for not doing a post in a few days, I've been pretty uninspired.. Anyway today I thought I would do a quick simple one showing what I've been upto and working on recently. So I am trying to do photography at university one day, but this year I'm not going to uni but instead either going to do a foundation in art or get work experience. 

My trip to Barcelona provided huge inspiration and ideas for my portfolio and so I have decided to do a project around him. if you've never been to Barcelona or heard of him (as I hadn't before I went) then definately go and have a liitle nosey on Google at his work, it's incredible and so beautiful..

30 Day Snap - #14, #15 and #16 Barcelona

These last couple of days have been amazing as I went to Barcelona with my family. It was only technically a weekend city break so we made the most of the time we had there by going on the city tour buses and getting off at random stops to enjoy the beautiful architecture and colours of the city; I would highly recommend Barcelona if you enjoy different and interesting buildings and artwork, as it is full of many different kinds. It's also really great for topping up your tan while you enjoy the scenery!

30 Day Snap - #13 off to Barcelona!

Today has comprised of packing and getting bits all sorted as tomorrow my family and I are heading to Barcelona for three days and I am so excited as I've never been there before and I love visiting new and exciting places. Despite having to be out the door tomorrow morning for 4am (kill me) I think I'll enjoy every second once we get there and get out there to enjoy the scenery and sites in the few days we are there! 

Please ignore the bad quality as this was taken on my iPhone, my main camera is packed away in my case and it takes too much energy to dig it back out again.

30 Day Snap - #12 Sweet, sweet sunshine

It's sunny once again! As we all breathe a sign of relief and gain a shred of confidence for summer in the UK, I am about to head off to work, so won't be enjoying the sunshine this evening but hopefully will tomorrow night at a BBQ as I have work again tomorrow in the daytime... Anyway yesterday I also found my mums old camera she got when I was a few months old, this is such a cute camera and great to add to my collection, as well as great experimentation for me. I cannot wait to try it out and take it out and about with me this summer! 

30 Day Snap - #11 Coach potato

My mum got this box set AGES ago now as we all (being my mum, sister and I, not so much my dad) love Gilmore Girls and you would not believe how may episodes there are! We are on series 5 out of 7 I think and we have fallen in love with it, so after watching many episodes on the tv went and bought the entire box set. In our family we do love american TV and shows, and Gilmore Girls is just a mix of humour, quirky personalities and drama, I would highly recommend.

30 Day Snap - #10 A trip down memory lane

Today I popped over to TK Maxx with my mum specifically to look at the homewares section as I had never really looked in that section before, and as TK Maxx isn't really to close to me I really wanted to come back with something for my room. Anyway I found these two gorgeous vintage-feel photo frames which are perfect for my room and give something a little extra to the room and my bedside table in specific. I can't wait to add in some old photos of my parents and I and any other photos from my childhood.. At £5 and £5.99 I couldn't really say no!
